According to Time, the guy’s robbed more than 100 homes, many of which belong to exceptionally wealthy people, stolen multiple cars, boats, and most recently, three (count ‘em) three airplanes, all of which he learned to pilot by purchasing a flying manual on the internet using a victim’s computer and a stolen credit card. Oh, and did I mention he lives in the woods? Some people call the kid Robin Hood. Others call him bored. But all I can tell you is that the balls I thought I had, turned out to be a figment of my imagination.

Fortunately, you shan’t be left in the dark yet again, seeing as Dim Mak has officially gone all out on their upcoming Avalon-strocity of a dance party and has managed (by means of some ridiculous supernatural power) to summon the dj Feadz to make Los Angeles sparkle upon the night of the 12th of September. (That means you’ve got a little over a week to go ahead and cancel all your appointments and such. Don’t worry, you didn’t really need to go to them anyway) Considering a live Feadz headliner has become somewhat of a rarity since the inception of Uffie, it goes without saying that this isn’t something you’re going to want to miss. And as if that’s not enough for your metaphorically Irish electro tolerance, I suggest you take a look at the rest of the lineup. We’ve got Kid Cudi (I’m sure you’ve heard Crookers‘ Embrace the Martian?), Paparazzi, Them Jeans (If you’re unfamiliar, you must live in a cave), and the notorious Hyphy Crunk, all waiting to help you lace up your dancing shoes. Sure, a couple of those names do indeed frequent LA, however, having them all to yourself together in one night is pushing insanity.

Just a little heads up for those of you that frequently find yourselves engaged in spontaneous dance-offs, break-battles, and foot fights, if you do somehow make it through tomorrow without taking a bit of time off to listen to Chromeo‘s latest audio upgrade, you could be at a significantly higher risk for an embarrassing loss: The re-release, cleverly titled, “Fancier Footwork”, will not only include the entire slightly less fancy album, as well as a whole bunch of other goodies that may well prove useful, including a series of five music videos (Fancy Footwork, Bonafied Lovin’, Tenderoni, Needy Girl, and (oh god yes! (Hey wait I just put parentheses inside parentheses…)) DJ Mehdi‘s catchy, Chromeo-enhanced I Am Somebody), nine remixes, and a mini, four-song greatest hits section. Needless, to say, knowingly skipping out would be nothing short of self sabotage, and you’re just not one to act in such silliness, right? And just as a bit of a toss in, in case you’ve got a heavier dj set coming up soon, or if you just happen to be one of those guys that lives for the sweaty electro kickers, you might check out JFK of MSTRKRFT‘s recently released remix of Kid Sister‘s, “Control.” The mix is quite possibly one of the loudest, most obnoxious and beautifully impatient floor shakers I’ve heard in quite some time. And no need to worry about playing it out; You can always count on MSTRKRFT‘s tastefully polished production to hold everything together. Long live the king.

Just thought I’d toss out a little info for those of you that have been sitting at your computer, double clicking the same four tracks in iTunes for far too long: If you’re down to get hard and heavy, and if your ears have had way too much time to heal since their last good bleed, you might want to hop in the old shaggin’ wagon, shell out the five bucks a gallon to fill her up, and head down into LA to check out tonight’s Blow Up LA event. The lovable threesome, Royal Rumble (the prodigy behind the infamous Kid Sister – Damn Girl remix), shall be headlining, and will be preceded by several other Los Angeles tableists, all of which are more than noteworthy. (Did you check out LAZRtag’s “Don’t Stop the Music” remix covered in the previous post? *sees the look of disbelief on your face* Yes, my friend, they will be there, and they will knock your funky little hipster socks off.)

Sounds like an offer that can’t be beat…
