I don’t normally use Uh Oh Disco as a make-shift Craigslist, but desperate times call for desperate measures. I, being the generic, easily stereotyped faux-hipster that I am, have been searching far and wide for a vinyl copy of Suzanne Kraft’s Green Flash EP, to very little avail. In fact, the closest I’ve come to finding it has been the December 8th ordered copy at Amoeba Records, which I was recently informed was “probably just not gonna come.”

That being the case, I would like any and all readers who own a copy of this record to please package it up (Use bubble wrap and a sturdy box, as I don’t want it damaged) and kindly send it to us here at Uh Oh Disco. If you could get it done ASAP too, that would be fantastic.

Suzanne Kraft – Turning

Toro Y Moi is such a hard artist to remix I find, since the originals are already so unique and awesome it’s hard to bring something else to them. There are for sure a few good remixes though, but the Los Angeles duo Vindata killed the competition with their remix of “Still Sound.”

Ok, I’m going to be totally honest here… I’m not much of a Duck Sauce fan. No disrespect though, Armand and A-Trak are total legends in my books and they can do no wrong. That being said, their “Big Bad Wolf” jam wasn’t really my thing and I never thought much of it. But last night in my soundcloud quest of bangers, I stumbled upon an impressive young guy called WolfWolf. He’s Australian, which explains why he’s so good. He hasn’t been around for that long apparently, and his first release only came out last summer.

Anyway, his remix of “Big Bad Wolf” is great! Totally UhOhDisco material, especially with that silky smooth vocal sample work he brought into the remix. Without the Duck Sauce stems, this is basically a whole new tune. Great job, and I can’t wait to see what else this dude comes up with.

Aeroplane’s new monthly mix is monstrous. Seriously huge dosage of TUNES. Can’t wait to see him at Rhonda on the 10th with Morgan Geist and Optimo.
