i also have to disagree with ubbs. house music is as big as ever and won't be going anywhere! I strongly think that dubstep will be around for a very long time to come too!

Anyone does still remember "UK Garage" and the future that was predicted for it? I rest my case.

i disagree with Ubbs... did house and electro really 'come and go'? they peaked at different time periods,yea... but none of it really ever left. tell that to the legions of b'more and chitown house fans that still fill the clubs.

dubstep isn't near that kind of popularity, but those that follow the blogs via microscope will see that kind of saturation... because it's hella good. it's nowhere close to peaking though, yet even when it does, it'll continue to evolve into the next step rather than dying off completely.

Dubstep has been hovering and growing over the last couple months but the dance music world is cyclic. Everyone went nuts for 'house' then 'electro' then there was a little bump in ocean for 'nu-disco' or whatever the kids were calling it and now 'dubstep'.

This genre will come and go like the rest... but hey lets enjoy it while we can!
