I‘m amazed that Culture Prophet still hasn’t signed a record deal. I’m guessing that they got some offers and decided to pass, because these guys are simply too talented to be ignored. They have plans to play SXSW in about three weeks and will probably excite quite a few label executives. It might be hard to stand out among so many big names, but these guys could do it. They describe their sound as as ”rough-edged, aggressively danceable, electrodisco”. Listen below, and good luck coming up with a better description.
